Pansy’s Revamped Skies Volume 2

Combat ready

A feedback form is now available if you would like to provide feedback on the mod: https://forms.gle/gNq9x4BvmZMzsfmA7

This mod does not need updating for new patches (outside of when new maps are added or actual updates to the mod itself) and can simply be moved to the newest patch folder whenever WG Updates the game.
The mod also only fully works Improved Graphics (HD). While Standard Graphics will work, it will be missing the full features of the mod (namely the modified skyboxes) due to limitations.

Like the original Revamped Skies, this mod includes changes to almost all available maps in the game, reworking map ambience and altering the skyboxes to give each map a new feel to it: this does NOT include event maps/hangars and will not. This includes:
– the default Hangar
– all 44 Random Battle maps
– all 3 Frontline maps

Here is an Imgur album showing a preview for every map: https://imgur.com/a/wot-revamped-skies-volume-2-mod-preview-RYMHj24

If you are unsure which mod to use, or just like variety, I recommend trying out this mod: Skybox Randomizer https://wgmods.net/7494/

I must include some “issues” for transparency:
– Reflective surfaces (notably water) still mostly reflect the ORIGINAL map appearance. This can look funny but should be for the most part irrelevant
– Ambient map effects such as Airfield’s offshore lightning still happen despite the different settings and might look silly, but not something I could fix so you’ll have to ignore it
– like Himmelsdorf in the original Revamped Skies, (small) Ensk seems to have a lighting issue that requires you to enter sniper mode to make the map use the correct lighting. I have no idea why this happens or how to actually fix it, but yeah, just entering sniper mode will correct it
– While not necessarily an issue I want to make sure you’re aware that altering the feel of the map can potentially lead to some disorientation. Again I apologise for this in advance
– Since this has been a constant issue: do not try to run this alongside any other sky-related mod, including the other version within the mod. It WILL cause conflicts as the game tries to load both mods

As a final note, this mod is NOT intended as a replacement for the original Revamped Skies mod, but simply an alternate take on every map. You can comfortably continue using the original mod if you aren’t a fan of this one, or change between the two to try to make the game feel a bit more fresh.
