Custom UI Scale

Combat ready

Custom UI Scale

Sets the World of Tanks interface to any size between 50% and 200%, in steps of 1%. The game itself only offers whole doublings, and only those that fit your screen: on a 4K display you get x1 or x2 and nothing in between, one too small to read comfortably and one too large to fit anything on screen. On 1440p you often get no choice at all. This mod fills in everything between them.

FEATURES
– Keyboard shortcuts. Change the size straight from the keyboard, in the garage and in battle. The new size appears in the middle of the screen for a moment. Default is CTRL + ALT + Page Up / Page Down, and you can rebind it to any keys you like.
– Two slots of your own. Keep a pair of favourite sizes side by side and switch between them  without retyping either.
– A proper automatic setting. It aims for the interface size of a 1080p screen and never goes  below 100%: 200% on 4K, 135% on 1440p, 100% on 1080p. The game’s own automatic can only double, which is why 1440p stays stuck at 100%.
– Set it from either place. The game’s own Interface Scale option lists the same entries as the mod menu, including your two slots. Change it in one place and the other follows.
– Pixel-fit table. Shows which sizes land on whole pixels for your resolution, so you can pick one that stays sharp instead of slightly blurred.
– Screen readout. Your resolution, native resolution, aspect ratio, the size the interface is laid out for, and the font cache size the client will use.
– 9 languages with auto-detect: English, Polish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Czech.

SETTINGS
In-game settings menu via Aslain’s modsSettingsApi or the original izeberg modsSettingsApi. The mod also works standalone, with no menu installed, using its saved settings.

Settings are stored per user in
%APPDATA%Wargaming.netWorldOfTanksmodsAslaincustomuiscalecustomuiscale.json

COMPATIBILITY
If another interface scaling mod is detected at startup, this one stands down and says so in python.log, rather than fighting it. Remove one of the two.
