Miss the classic gun sounds from before World of Tanks Update 2.4, but love some of the new ones? Keep your favorites from both.
Gun sounds selector puts the choice in your hands. Select Pre-2.4 or After-2.4 independently across sound categories, and build the mix you want to hear on the battlefield.
Keep the familiar pre-2.4 sound for the 122mm category while choosing the newer sound for the 130mm category. Pick different versions for smaller guns, heavy hitters and artillery. Regular shots and double-barrel salvos have separate settings, giving you more ways to create your own combination.
LISTEN FIRST. THEN CHOOSE.
Open the mod menu in the bottom-right corner of your Garage and select Gun sounds selector by TheOnlyApocalypse. Click the speaker buttons to preview the sounds, compare your options, and press Apply to save your choices. Your settings are remembered for your next session, and apply to matching gun sounds from your own tank, allies and opponents.
A LITTLE NAVAL FIREPOWER FOR YOUR EARS.
For an extra twist, enable the World of Warships Easter egg. It replaces the matching 122mm salvo sound category with the mod’s 510mm sound effect, bringing a blast of naval gunfire to your tank battles. Switch it off to return to your selected sound version for that category.

Note: Categories follow the game’s sound events; listed calibers are common examples. The Easter egg also affects other vehicles that use the same salvo sound event. This mod changes audio, not gun caliber, damage or vehicle performance.
